Sebastian is the founder and CTO of Otics. He founded Otics in 2018 with ideas from his PhD thesis in multi-agent systems that showed how real-time data can be used by agents to build entity level machine learning models. His book "Transactional Machine Learning with Data Streams and AutoML: Build Frictionless and Elastic Machine Learning Solutions with Apache Kafka in the Cloud Using Python" is the world's first book showing how real-time data can be processed at the entity-level, to get a much deeper understanding of each individual device entity producing real-time data.

Tony has over 30 years of international experience in financial services and the Canadian public sector with expertise in strategy development and hands-on delivery of complex business transformation, data and technology modernization programs. He held executive roles at major consulting and IT services firms including Accenture, Capco, Bearingpoint and, most recently, as Senior Managing Partner leading the Financial Services Consulting portfolio at Gartner Canada. He also held interim exec roles at major financial institutions in Canada and the UK. His experience in the public sector spans large Federal government departments and financial Crown Agencies such as Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Export Development Canada (EDC), Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC), FINTRAC, CDIC.
